Non League Weekend Round Up

Both Dartford and Ebbsfleet United cruised through to Round Two of the FA Trophy at the weekend with Dover smashing Bromley in the league.

Liam Enver-Marum’s hat-trick ensured Fleet made the seven hour journey back to Kent from Cornwall with a win as they saw their way past Truro City 5-2 with Michael West and Nathaniel Pinney scoring the others for Liam Daish’s side.

Two goals from former Gillingham striker Jacob Erskine helped Dartford into the next round as they comfortably beat Brackley Town 3-0 with Elliot Bradbrook scoring the opener from the spot.

Welling United were dumped out of the Trophy over in Essex despite Andy Pugh continuing his fine scoring form as the Wings were beaten 2-1 by East Thurrock United.

In the Conference South, Dover Athletic smashed Bromley 4-1 with George Purcell bagging himself a hat-trick for the Whites with James Walker scoring the opener for the home side and Hakeem Araba scoring a late consolation for the Ravens.
